rpc was founded in 2013 as a joint venture of the BMW Group and h&z Management Consulting. Today, we have employees in Germany, Belgium, China, England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the US, serving our clients with local expertise backed by global resources and knowledge.
rpc America is based out of the East Coast, but our team spans from sea to shining sea. Whether you’re having breakfast in Brooklyn or watching the sun set in LA, we’ve got you and your project covered.

Christian Feilmeier, President
As managing director of rpc – The Retail Performance Company, Christian is responsible for the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, China, and North America. After finishing his business degree and taking part in the BMW Group’s junior talent program, Christian held various roles in the financial division of the BMW Group, including serving as the head of investor relations. As CFO of the BMW Group Canada, he joined the sales division in 2007 before focusing entirely on retail as the head of retail performance consulting at the BMW Group as of 2011.

Joseph R. Lopane is a positive, effective leader who loves developing new relationships. Skilled in communicating, Joseph is a Professional Certified Coach and dominant activator who loves to be in motion. With a precise, strategic approach to recruiting and leadership, Steve Thomas understands the level of expertise his clients expect and he delivers, creating a long-lasting career advantage for each applicant and team member. In 2015, Steve joined rpc as a regional technician recruiter for the BMW NA dealership network in the southern region. He ran the program nationally as the RTR Project Manager and is now the director of the entire talent services line, consulting on all major HR and talent management initiatives for rpc America. Steve prides himself on guiding his team to find the ideal candidates for every position.
